Punjab National Bank has recently asked the branches to complete day end process by 5:30 PM. The notification regarding the same has been released by Gorakhpur circle. All the branches have been requested to complete their work by 5:30 PM.
This step from PNB Bank is highly appreciated. The employees are happy as this step will definitely improve work life balance of employees.

It is a Win Win situation for both- the Bank and its employees. The Bank saves on overhead costs being incurred due to late working. The employees are able to achieve a work life balance…so they will be happy and energetic the next working day. Employees trying to impress their bosses by supposedly late working will be fully eliminated.

The controlling office must instruct the IT cell that no employee/officer should work on terminal, for this terminals of every branch must be checked one by one.

Second, uf really Bank wants to maintain work life balance, in that case the controlling office instruct to IT cell that after 5.30 pm no system should be opened in the branch.
