Prajith Kumar D Takes Over as General Manager and Zonal Head of Bank of Baroda’s Ernakulam Zone

Ernakulam, Kerala – May 2025: Bank of Baroda has made some changes in its senior management. Shri Prajith Kumar D has been appointed as the General Manager and Zonal Head of the Ernakulam Zone of Bank of Baroda. This zone covers the entire state of Kerala. He has now assumed the charge of GM/Zonal Head of Ernakulam Zone.

He has over 30 years of experience in banking and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. Throughout his career, he has worked in several key departments and regions, including the International Banking Division and even served at the Bank’s New York branch in the United States. Known for his leadership skills and commitment to performance, he has played an important role in the Bank’s growth and customer service initiatives over the years.

In his new role, he will lead the bank’s operations across Kerala’s 242 branches. His appointment is expected to boost customer satisfaction, promote digital banking solutions, and strengthen financial inclusion efforts in the state.

The Ernakulam Zone is a major part of Bank of Baroda’s presence in South India, and with Shri Prajith Kumar D at the helm, the bank aims to further expand its services, enhance customer relationships, and promote innovation in banking operations across Kerala.
