This decision follows the abandonment of the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamshala, which was disrupted by a power outage amid regional unrest. The suspension has raised concerns among foreign players, many of whom are arranging to return to their home countries. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has expressed willingness to host the remaining matches of the IPL in September, although no formal discussions have commenced.
