Govt extends Tenure of MD & ED of 3 PSU Banks

The Government of India has extended the tenure of MD&CEO and ED of three public sector banks.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the following proposals of the Department of Financial Services:
Govt has extended tenure of Shri Rajneesh Karnatak (DoB: 14.07.1970) as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO), Bank of India, for a period of three years beyond his currently notified term which is ending on 28.04.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Govt has also extended tenure of Shri Debadatta Chand (DoB: 31.01.1971) as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO), Bank of Baroda, for a period of three years beyond his currently notified term which is ending on 30.06.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Govt has also extended tenure of Shri Ashutosh Choudhury (DoB: 04.09.1975) as Executive Director (ED), Indian Bank, for a period of three years beyond his currently notified term which is ending on 02.05.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
