Government Extends Tenure of UCO Bank Executive Director Rajendra Kumar Saboo

The Central Government has approved the extension of tenure for Shri Rajendra Kumar Saboo, Executive Director of UCO Bank. His current term was set to end on 20th November 2025, but with this decision, he will continue in his role for an additional three years, or until further orders are issued, whichever comes earlier.

The notification regarding the extension was issued on 15th September 2025 under the provisions of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970, and the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970.

Shri Rajendra Kumar Saboo has been serving as the Executive Director of UCO Bank and has played an important role in guiding the bank’s operations and policies. His extended tenure will ensure continuity in leadership as the bank continues to focus on growth, digital transformation, and improved customer services.

Rajendra Kumar Saboo is currently working as an Executive Director at UCO Bank since 2022. Prior to this, he worked as a Chief General Manager at Punjab National Bank.
