Gas Pipeline Burst, Water and Mud flood SBI Branch
Jhansi: While laying a gas pipeline near the Badi Mata Temple in Raksa on Sunday midnight, a high-pressure pipeline burst. The loud noise created panic in nearby homes. Fearing the worst, residents rushed out of their homes. Meanwhile, gas company employees fled the scene after the pipeline burst.

On receiving information about the explosion, police reached the spot. Due to the bursting of the pipeline, the mud and water filled in it filled the nearby SBI bank branch.
Due to this, all the items kept in SBI were destroyed. SBI field officer also reached the spot. Village head Rajendra Singh told that the work of laying the gas pipeline has been going on for the last two months. The pipeline is being laid through a tunnel using a drilling machine.
According to CO Priya Singh, this incident occurred due to excessive pressure while laying the pipeline. No one was injured in the accident. The fire brigade team was also called. The SBI bank was flooded with water. More details will be released soon.
