
Shri Dhanaraj T has recently taken charge as the Executive Director of Indian Overseas Bank for a three-year term, effective from March 10th, 2024. Prior to this role, he served as the Chief General Manager at Indian Bank and began his career as a Rural Development Officer in 1994.
Qualifications and Education
Shri Dhanaraj T holds an Agricultural Engineering Degree from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. He also has additional qualifications such as CAlIB (Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers) and has completed a ‘Leadership Development Program’ for PSU bank leaders conducted by IIM-Bangalore. Additionally, he has undertaken an ‘Executive program in HR Analytics’ (EPHRA) from IIM, Lucknow.

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) was established on February 10th, 1937, by Shri. M.Ct.M. Chidambaram Chettyar, a pioneer in various fields.
