Case Registered Against HDFC Bank Employee in Basti

The Kotwali police has recently registered a case in connection with a fraud that occurred at the HDFC Basti branch. The case involves two individuals, one of whom is an employee of the bank.

Complaint Filed by Ramakant Pandey

Ramakant Pandey, a resident of Dudi Katholiya in the Duboulia area, lodged a complaint with the police. He reported that a fraudulent transaction worth Rs 25,673 was made from his salary account using a fake card. Upon notifying the bank about the incident, the deducted amount was promptly returned to his account and put on hold. However, the funds were later transferred from his account to another undisclosed account without his authorization.
