Sitamarhi, Bihar – In a shocking incident, the assistant manager of Canara Bank’s Marpa branch was attacked and robbed by three bike-borne miscreants on Monday evening. The incident took place near the registry office under Bhutahi police station area.
According to the complaint lodged by manager Deepak Prakash, he was returning home to Sitamarhi Basvariya after closing the branch. While going home, he was stopped by miscreants armed with a pistol. The miscreants threatened him, hit him with the butt of the weapon, and snatched his bag.
The stolen bag contained the bank locker key, a mobile phone, and several important documents. The injured manager immediately called the police helpline (112). Soon after, police reached the scene and began an investigation.
