During an unsuccessful burglary attempt, criminals forcibly entered a branch of the Central Bank of India located in Parvathipuram town, Manyam district. Despite their efforts, they were unable to crack open the secure safe holding the cash. As a consolation, they decided to steal a laptop and a scanner from the bank instead. The incident occurred on a Saturday night.

The following Monday, Branch Manager K Ramakrishana arrived to open the bank and discovered the broken window grill along with the missing laptop and scanner. Immediately, he notified the police about the break-in. Upon their arrival, the police found evidence of the burglary, including a gas cutter and two gas cylinders.
