BSF praises SBI for providing over Rs.1 Crore to Deceased Soldier’s Family

The loss of a brave soldier creates a void that can never truly be filled. In such difficult moments, the support and kindness of the community provide great strength to the grieving families.

To ensure that the families of BSF personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice receive the compensation they rightfully deserve, BSF and State Bank of India (SBI) have worked together to facilitate timely assistance.

On 15th May 2025, the team from SBI’s Gadkha branch visited the residence of Late Sub-Inspector Md Imteyaz, who was killed in action, and personally met his family to complete all necessary formalities with empathy and care.

A claim of ₹1.1 crore has now been sanctioned and approved for his family. The Prahari Parivaar extends heartfelt gratitude to SBI for their prompt, compassionate, and respectful support during this deeply emotional time.
