The Bank of Baroda Corporate Golf League 2023-24 commenced on Monday with the unveiling of the trophy at the Ram Bagh Golf Club (RGC).
RGC’s 10th league was inaugurated by Shireesh Sacheti, the captain of RGC and chairman of the league, while highlighting that it is the third league for the Bank of Baroda.
A total of 41 teams will participate in this league, each consisting of 8 players. The competition will follow a round-robin format, with the teams divided into four groups A, B, C, and D through a lucky draw. The league adopts a match-play format, with all teams playing round-robin league matches within their groups for the initial 11 weeks.
The top 4 teams from each group will advance to the Elite Division, while the next 4 teams will move to the Plate Division and engage in knockout matches. The Plate Division’s final match is scheduled for March 9, and the Elite Division’s final match will take place on March 10.
