Bank of Maharashtra has issued a circular dated September 23, 2026, informing all its branches and offices that they will remain open and function normally on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
The bank said the decision has been taken to ensure that the genuine banking needs of customers are not affected for an extended period. Accordingly, all branches and offices of Bank of Maharashtra will remain operational and provide normal banking services on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
The Reserve Bank of India has approved all bank branches, offices, ATM-link branches and Currency Chests to remain fully operational on September 27, 2026. Based on this approval, Bank of Maharashtra has directed its branches and offices to remain open and function normally on the Sunday.
All concerned officials and employees have been advised to take note of the instructions and ensure normal functioning of the branches and offices on September 27, 2026.
