Bank of India Staff Caught Taking Bribe in Neemuch MP

On Monday afternoon, the Ujjain Lokayukta team in Manasa, Neemuch district in Madhya Pradesh caught Rupesh Kaushal, a sub-staff employee at the Bank of India’s Manasa branch, red-handed while he was taking a bribe of ₹15,000. The action was taken on the instructions of Lokayukta Director General Yogesh Deshmukh.

Rupesh Kaushal had allegedly demanded a bribe from applicant Aanchal Nagda in exchange for approving a loan. Aanchal Nagda lives in Ramnagar Colony, Manasa. She filed a complaint with Ujjain Lokayukta Superintendent of Police Anand Yadav on Friday.

In her complaint, she said that bank employee Rupesh Kaushal was demanding ₹15,000 from her. Lokayukta Inspector Hina Dabar checked the complaint, and the bribe demand was confirmed to be true. After verification, on November 24, 2025, the Lokayukta team caught Rupesh Kaushal while he was accepting the bribe at the Bank of India’s Manasa branch.
