Bank of Baroda Officers raise voice against Toxic Work Culture in Kota Region

The All India Bank of Baroda Officers’ Association has sent a letter to the Zonal Head in Jaipur, urging them to address ongoing harassment faced by officers in the Kota Region. According to the letter, there have been multiple instances of harassment and inappropriate behavior by the Regional Manager. Key concerns raised include:

  • Officers are being forced to stay at work until 9 p.m.
  • Teams meetings are intentionally scheduled at 5 or 6 p.m., often extending for 2–3 hours, resulting in day-end tasks being completed around 9 p.m.
  • During the Ganpati Visarjan festival, a Teams meeting was scheduled at 6:30 p.m. and continued until 10 p.m., disrupting personal time.
  • The Regional Manager has allegedly threatened staff, saying, “I can transfer staff up to Scale 3 anywhere.”

The association expects Bank of Baroda Management to address these issues promptly. They emphasize that if there are misunderstandings or conflicts between officers and the Regional Manager, these should be resolved amicably for the well-being of all involved.
