Bank of Baroda Guidelines on Online Meetings: RTI Reply

Recently a Chief Manager of Bank of Baroda committed suicide in Pune due to extreme work pressure. In another incident, an officer of Bank of Baroda met with an accident due to late evening meeting. The Association raised voice against the online meetings being conducted frequently and outside office timings.

An RTI was filed to know the rules and guidelines of Bank of Baroda regarding online meeting. The reply is as follows:

If such meetings are conducted after official working hours, what is the maximum allowed duration for such meetings, as per the bank’s internal guidelines?	No such guidelines
In one-to-one meetings with branches, how many branches are allowed to be added in a single video conference? It has been observed that branches scheduled last for such meetings often have to remain open late into the night, which causes inconvenience and endangers the safety of employees returning home at odd hours. In case an employee meets with an accident or safety-related incident while returning home after a late-night meeting, what are the rules, protocols, or circulars in Bank of Baroda that establish the accountability of the officer who conducted or scheduled the meeting at such a late hour?	The information sought is hypothetical and interrogative, hence does not come under the purview of “Information” as laid down under Section 2(f) of RTI Act, 2005. Hence, no information can be provided.
