Uttar Pradesh Minister JPS Rathore inspected the District Cooperative Bank Ltd Gorakhpur

Uttar Pradesh Minister JPS Rathore inspected the District Cooperative Bank Ltd., Gorakhpur, and issued necessary directions to officials regarding its functioning. During the visit, the Minister reviewed the bank’s operations and interacted with its officials and employees, stressing the need for effective functioning and better delivery of cooperative banking services.

Vijay Pratap Singh, Chairman of the District Cooperative Bank, accompanied the Minister during the inspection. Deputy Registrar (DR), Assistant Registrar (AR), senior bank officials and employees were also present.

This reflects the state government’s focus on monitoring the performance of cooperative banking institutions and strengthening their role in delivering financial services to people, particularly in rural areas, under the broader vision of ‘Sahkar Se Samriddhi’.

District Co-Opreative Bank Ltd. Gorakhpur is registered under U.P.Co-Op. Societies Act 1965 and is Licensed by Reserve Bank of India Under B.R.Act 1949 (AACS) License No.:- R.P.C.D.L.K 29(DCCB)/2012 to carry out Banking Business.The Bank commenced its Banking Business in the year 1919 and currently Bank has 19 Branches in Two Districts – Farrukhabad and Kannauj.
