Bank of Baroda Wins Two Awards for MSME Credit Guarantee Initiatives

Bank of Baroda has received two prestigious awards from the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) for its contribution to strengthening credit support for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The bank secured first position in the Public Sector Bank category for Highest Guarantee Coverage (Number). It also achieved first position under the Special Credit Guarantee Scheme – Collateral Support for Export Credit category for the Adoption of Scheme by Banks.

The awards were presented at the Member Lending Institution (MLI) Felicitation Ceremony held in Mumbai on October 29, 2026. Shri R. K. Goel, General Manager, MSME Banking, Bank of Baroda, received the awards on behalf of the bank.

These recognitions highlight Bank of Baroda’s continued efforts to improve access to credit for MSMEs and support businesses through credit guarantee initiatives. Such initiatives help eligible businesses access financial assistance and strengthen their ability to meet funding requirements, including those related to export activities.
