SBI Green Marathon Season 7 All Details

The SBI Green Marathon has started. The SBI Green Marathon Season 7 is organized by the State Bank of India in collaboration with Mirchi to promote fitness and environmental sustainability across 17 host cities in India.

SBI Green Marathon Race Categories

• Half Marathon (21K): Timed race, open to ages 18 and older (AIMS-certified).
• 10 KM Run: Timed race, open to ages 16 and older (AIMS-certified).
• 5 KM Run: Non-timed race, open to ages 10 and older.
• Eco-Friendly Perks: Includes organic t-shirts, plantable bibs, eco-friendly water cups, and waste management initiatives

SBI Green Marathon Prize Money Matrix

Cash prizes are awarded across specific age cohorts for both male and female podium finishers in the timed events:

Average Registration Fees

Prices slightly vary depending on the host city and booking platform. Across most locations (such as the booking listings on BookMyShow), the baseline costs are:

• 5 KM Run: ₹700 to ₹800 (+ applicable taxes/fees)
• 10 KM Run: ₹800 to ₹900 (+ applicable taxes/fees)
• Half Marathon (21.1K): ₹1,000 to ₹1,200 (+ applicable taxes/fees)

SBI Green Marathon Runner Kit & Entitlements

Every registered participant receives an event kit, typically collected at a designated Expo 1–2 days prior to the race day:

• For All Runners: A premium organic cotton T-shirt and a customized finisher medal upon crossing the line.
• For Timed Runners (10K/21K): An official RFID-enabled timing bib and an online timing certificate.
• For 5K Runners: A unique plantable bib embedded with seeds that you can plant after the run.
• On-Ground Support: Biodegradable refreshment boxes, eco-friendly hydration stations, and medical support points spaced along the route.

Core Rules & Age Eligibility

• Age Cut-offs: You must be at least 18 years old for the Half Marathon, 16 years old for the 10K, and 5–6 years old for the 5K. Minors require parental/guardian consent.
• Non-Transferable: Registrations are strictly tied to your identity document. You cannot change categories, swap names, or request a refund once the payment is completed.
