Two unions of Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank have been merged into one. The Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank Officers Association and the Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank Adhikari Association have merged into one union. The joint convention was held on October 10, 2026, at Hotel Diamond Palace, Faizabad Road, Lucknow.
The convention was jointly chaired by Santosh Tiwari, President of the Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank Officers Association, and Somendra Singh Tomar, President of the Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank Adhikari Association.

During the convention, both organisations unanimously decided to merge. Following the merger, the name of the unified organisation will remain Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank Officers Association, with Registration No. 10327. The merged organisation will be affiliated with the All India Gramin Bank Officers Association and the All India Bank Officers Association (AIBOA).
The convention also unanimously approved the formation of a new executive committee to lead the merged organisation. Sudhir Saxena was appointed General Secretary, Somendra Singh Tomar Working General Secretary, and Tanmay Tiwari President. Manish Singh Bhadauria was appointed Chairman, while Shashank Dubey was appointed Working President.

The convention was attended by several banking trade union leaders, including S. Nagarajan, General Secretary of the All India Bank Officers Association, and D. N. Trivedi, General Secretary of the All India Gramin Bank Officers Association. The merger brings the members of both the Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank Officers Association and the Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank Adhikari Association under one organisation.

Executive Committee and Office Bearers
After the merger decision, the convention unanimously formed a new executive committee and appointed the following office-bearers.
