SBI donated 100 Ceiling Fans and Other essential items to Government Schools

Shahabad: At the Government Senior Secondary School, the Rotary Club, in collaboration with the State Bank of India (SBI), conducted a significant distribution drive to enhance the infrastructure of government schools that lack essential physical facilities. The Rotary Club provided much-needed equipment, including ceiling fans, computers, printers, and inverters. Dr. S.S. Ahuja, the head of the Rotary Club, emphasized that their initiative aims to support schools where such facilities are inadequate, and this distribution is part of their ongoing efforts to improve educational environments. As part of this initiative, SBI officer Vineet Kumar, along with senior bank officials, was informed about the situation in these schools. Responding promptly, the team distributed a total of 100 ceiling fans, 4 computers, 5 printers, and 2 inverter batteries to the schools. The equipment was handed over in a ceremony led by SBI Chief Manager Prakash Chandra. During the event, Chandra highlighted the bank’s commitment to not only its core banking functions but also its dedication to community service.
