15 NBFCs have been closed in India. RBI has cancelled Certificate of Registration of 7 NBFCs and 8 NBFCs have surrendered their Certificate of Registration to the RBI.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), exercising powers under Section 45-IA (6) of the RBI Act, 1934, has cancelled the Certificate of Registration (CoR) of the following companies.

As a result of the cancellation, the above companies shall not transact the business of a non-banking financial institution, as defined under Section 45-I(a) of the RBI Act, 1934.

The following eight NBFCs surrendered their Certificate of Registration (CoR). RBI has cancelled their CoR under Section 45-IA (6) of the RBI Act, 1934.
