A violent incident occurred at a private bank in Rajivnagar, Patna, when a youth, Nihal Singh from Rupaspur, attacked a bank employee, Rajesh Singh. Nihal had gone to the bank to update his Aadhaar card, but a dispute broke out, leading to an altercation. In the heat of the argument, Nihal began beating Rajesh. During the struggle, a bangle that Nihal was wearing hit Rajesh’s nose, causing an injury.
The situation escalated further when Nihal got into a scuffle with the bank’s security guard. He attempted to snatch the guard’s weapon, adding to the chaos. The disturbance lasted for about 15-20 minutes, with other customers and staff witnessing the turmoil.
Before Nihal could escape, someone dialed the emergency number 112, and the information was quickly relayed to SHO Amit Kumar. The police arrived at the scene and chased Nihal, eventually apprehending him.
A case has been filed against Nihal Singh at the Rajivnagar police station. The charges include obstructing government work, assaulting an employee, and attempting to snatch the weapon from the guard. After being interrogated, Nihal was sent to jail, as confirmed by SHO Amit Kumar.
