In Madhya Pradesh, incidents of harassment against women are steadily increasing. Troublemakers often follow women or harass them over the phone, and while some women choose to respond, others do not. However, in Alirajpur, one man faced the consequences of harassing a woman. The man in question is an employee at the State Bank of India’s Jobat branch, where he works as a clerk. The woman accused him of repeatedly sending her obscene messages. Despite being warned to stop, the man continued his inappropriate behavior, leaving the woman with no choice but to take matters into her own hands. The video clearly shows the woman beating the man with a hockey stick while two others stand by. Afterward, the woman took the man to the police station and handed him over to the authorities. The police have registered a case against the man and have begun an investigation.
According to Jobat SDOP Neeraj Namdev, the initial investigation revealed that the accused had previously lived as a tenant in the woman’s house. After the woman asked him to vacate the premises, he began harassing her by sending inappropriate messages. Angered by his behavior, the woman decided to confront him. The police have now registered a case against the bank employee under various sections and have started their investigation.
