Background of the Incident

Despite their pleas for justice, the brothers faced intimidation at the police station instead of receiving help. They expressed their frustration, stating that they felt threatened and were not allowed to meet with the Superintendent of Police, Vrinda Shukla.

Action Taken by the Police

After a video of the assault circulated on social media, Superintendent Vrinda Shukla took swift action and suspended Harikesh Singh, asserting that such behavior would not be tolerated. She emphasized the need for accountability within the police force to prevent similar incidents in the future.

The brothers, identified as Love Gupta and Kush Gupta, have been making rounds to seek justice, but their efforts have been met with resistance. Traffic police managed to intervene during the initial assault, but the brothers continued to face obstacles when trying to file an official complaint.

Community Reaction

This incident has raised concerns among local residents, particularly regarding the treatment of citizens by law enforcement. Prakash Gupta, the father of the victims and a former District General Secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha, highlighted the implications of police violence, questioning how ordinary citizens might be treated if even police officers are not safe from such aggression.

As the investigation continues, the community is watching closely to see what measures will be taken to ensure accountability and restore public trust in the police.
