During a virtual address today, top management instructed all field officials to ensure that daily branch operations, including the completion of the day-end process (CSOLOP), are finished by 6:00 PM. Additionally, branches should be fully closed by 6:30 PM. This directive is aimed at reducing the prolonged working hours that many officers face on a daily basis. In a further move to support work-life balance, it was announced that no official messages should be sent via WhatsApp between 8:00 PM and 9:00 AM, helping to prevent misuse and reduce after-hours work pressure on employees.
Although this step does not fully address all the challenges that officers encounter, it is seen as a positive and meaningful progression toward creating a safer workplace that promotes mutual respect and dignity.
