In an official communication released by Shimith P R, General Secretary of FBOA, the association alleged that Ms. Kalpana used abusive language during meetings, creating a hostile work environment for officers and employees. The statement emphasized that such conduct not only disrupts the professional atmosphere but also undermines the organization’s broader business objectives.
“Business and barbarism cannot go hand in hand,” the communication read, underscoring FBOA’s stance that respect and professionalism must form the foundation of any corporate engagement.

The association urged Federal Bank management to take immediate and decisive action against the RH, expressing concern over repeated instances of inappropriate conduct. “Her leadership style has raised questions about her suitability for the role on multiple occasions,” the letter added.
FBOA also issued a strong warning that if the situation is not addressed promptly, the association will be forced to initiate agitation programmes in protest. The communication concluded by reaffirming FBOA’s commitment to defending the dignity and rights of its members, and its zero-tolerance policy towards any form of workplace misconduct. As of now, no official response has been issued by the management or Ms. Kalpana P regarding the allegations.
