State Bank of India: The State Bank of India (SBI) has launched a new digital banking app called “Yono for Every Indian” and an Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW) facility. The new app and facility were launched on July 2, 2023, as part of SBI’s 68th Bank Day celebrations.

The new YONO app has been revamped to provide users with a more seamless and pleasant digital experience. It offers a multitude of UPI facilities, including Scan and Pay, Pay by contacts, and Request money. The ICCW facility allows users to withdraw cash from ATMs without a debit card.

SBI Chairman Dinesh Khara said that the new YONO app and ICCW facility are part of the bank’s commitment to offering “cutting-edge digital banking solutions that empower every Indian with financial independence and convenience.” He added that the new app “will further fulfill our goal of making the ‘YONO for Every Indian’ mission a reality.”

The new YONO app has been well-received by users. In a Moneycontrol analysis earlier this year, it was found that the app had emerged as one of the most trusted digital banking apps in the country, with more than 6 crore registered users.

The ICCW facility is also expected to be popular with users. It is a secure and convenient way to withdraw cash, and it eliminates the need to carry a debit card.

The launch of the new YONO app and ICCW facility is a significant development in the digital banking space in India. It shows that SBI is committed to providing its customers with the best possible digital banking experience.
