SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2026: Apply for Scholarship Support Up to ₹15 Lakh
The SBI Foundation has started the application process for the SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship Program 2026, offering up to ₹15 lakh to eligible students across India. The scholarship is provided to students from low-income families so that they can continue their studies without financial problems.
This year, the SBI Foundation will provide scholarships worth ₹100 crore to support 25,707 students studying at different educational levels.
Scholarship Categories
Students from the following categories can apply for the SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2026:
- School students (Classes 9 to 12)
- Undergraduate (UG) students
- Postgraduate (PG) students
- MBBS students
- IIT students
- IIM students
- Overseas Master’s students
Eligibility Criteria
Students must fulfil the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship:
- At least 75% marks or a 7.5 CGPA in the previous academic year.
- Must be studying in eligible institutions. For higher education categories, eligible institutions include:
- NAAC-accredited institutions with Grade A or above
- Top 300 NIRF 2025-26 ranked institutions
- Top 200 QS 2025-26 ranked universities, wherever applicable.
- Annual family income should not exceed:
- ₹3 lakh for school students.
- ₹6 lakh for college and higher education students.
Applicants are advised to verify the detailed eligibility requirements before submitting the application.
Scholarship Amount
Students selected under the scheme will receive scholarships ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹15 lakh, based on their course and category.
According to the SBI Foundation, students who are selected may receive scholarship support till their course duration if they remain eligible each year.
