As per reports, SBI Adyar branch is located in the building owned by Kayalvizhi. Branch manager had requested Kayalvizhi to repair a faulty elevator in the building. She got frustrated and suddenly assaulted the bank manager.
Kayalvizhi owns a commercial property in Adyar where the SBI NRI branch is situated. Branch manager Harshin Singh had complained to the property maintenance person about a malfunctioning lift in the building. As the issue remained unresolved, Singh escalated the complaint to Kayalvizhi.
The chief manager of the bank has filed a complaint with the police and a case has been registered. More details will be released soon.
