State Bank of India (SBI) has announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1FY27). SBI has reported a net profit of ₹21,121 crore during Q1FY27. SBI’s overall business crossed ₹110 trillion during the quarter. Deposits crossed ₹60 trillion, while advances crossed ₹50 trillion.

  • Net Profit for Q1FY27 stands at ₹21,121 crores witnessing a growth of 10.23% YoY.
  • Operating Profit for Q1FY27 grew by 9.77% YoY to ₹33,529 crores.
  • Bank’s ROA and ROE for Q1FY27 stand at 1.11% and 17.87% respectively.
  • Net Interest Income (NII) for Q1FY27 increased by 14.88% YoY.
  • Domestic NIM at 3.00% in Q1FY27, improved by 7 bps over Q4FY26.
  • Whole Bank NIM at 2.86% in Q1FY27, improved by 5 bps over Q4FY26.

  • Whole Bank Advances growth at 18.63% YoY with Domestic Advances growth at 18.15% YoY.
  • Foreign Offices’ Advances grew by 21.38% YoY in rupee terms and 9.97% in dollar terms.
  • RAM Advances grew by 18.20% YoY, with double digit growth in all segments. Agri Advances grew by 25.43% followed by SME Advances growth of 22.33% and Retail Personal Advances growth of 15.15%.
  • Corporate Advances registered YoY growth of 18.05%.
  • Whole Bank Deposits grew by 9.73% YoY. CASA Deposits grew by 9.30% YoY. CASA Ratio stands at 39.24% as on 30th June 2026. Retail Term Deposits registered YoY growth of 14.39%.

Asset Quality

  • Gross NPA Ratio at 1.47% improved by 36 bps YoY.
  • Net NPA Ratio at 0.38% improved by 9 bps YoY.
  • Provision Coverage Ratio (PCR) stands at 74.20% while PCR (incl. AUCA) stands at 91.82%.
  • Slippage Ratio for Q1FY27 improved by 18 bps YoY and stands at 0.57%.
  • Credit Cost for Q1FY27 stands at 0.27%.

Capital Adequacy

  • Capital to Risk Weighted Assets Ratio (CRAR) as at the end of Q1FY27 stands at 15.67%.

Alternate Channels

  • More than 64% of SB accounts opened digitally through YONO in Q1FY27.
  • Share of Alternate Channels in total transactions increased from ~98.6% in Q1FY26 to ~98.8% in Q1FY27.
