
J Chandramouli, a retired bank employee and resident of Pandurangapuram in Visakhapatnam, was killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

According to official reports, Chandramouli sustained fatal gunshot wounds while attempting to flee from the attackers. Eyewitnesses said he pleaded for mercy, but the terrorists chased and shot him.
The victim, identified as Chandramouli, was initially reported missing following the incident. His body was later found by fellow tourists. Upon receiving the news, family members departed for Pahalgam from Visakhapatnam.
He retired as Deputy Manager from State Bank of India (SBI). He was Secretary of SBI Pensioners Club, Vizag at PahelGaon. He was a resident of Pandurangapuram in Visakhapatnam.
Chandramouli had been on a vacation in Kashmir with his wife, J. Naga Mani, and four others when the attack occurred. While the rest of the group, including his wife, managed to escape unharmed, Chandramouli got separated during the attack.
