In Bihar’s Gopalganj district, a State Bank employee named Ravindra Yadav (35) was tragically shot dead by armed assailants outside his residence.
The incident took place in Lahladpur village when approximately 6-8 assailants on motorcycles stormed his house. Ravindra Yadav, along with his family members, was sitting outside when the attackers approached him.
Rajendra Yadav and Chhotelal Yadav, residents of a neighboring village, fired multiple shots at him from close range, resulting in four fatal head wounds, according to his nephew, Pankaj Yadav.
This shocking incident occurred shortly before his niece’s wedding. Ravindra Yadav, who worked as a cashier at a bank in the Koila Deva area falling under the jurisdiction of Phulwariya police station, had taken leave to participate in the wedding festivities.
He was scheduled to return to work on June 15, as confirmed by an unidentified family member. Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat, when contacted, informed that a case has been registered, and five individuals have been named as the accused.
Three individuals have been taken into custody for questioning thus far. The authorities are actively investigating the matter.
