Robbery Attempt in Punjab National Bank in Gwalior, Thief Arrested

A thief tried to rob the Jail Road Branch of Punjab National Bank in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Luckily, the incident was averted, and Police has arrested the accused.

The police on Monday afternoon arrested a local thief who had targeted the Punjab National Bank branch located on Jail Road under the Bahodarpur police station area of ​​Gwalior city. The thief broke the outer locks of the bank and entered the branch premises, but failed to enter the strong room of the bank where cash was kept.

When the bank staff reached the branch in the morning, they found the locks of the main gate broken. The staff immediately called the police, and the thief was identified using CCTV cameras installed in the bank. As per reports, the accused lives near the bank and has been arrested by the Police. The thief has been identified as Gulli Bhadoria.

The Branch Manager, Prashant Pathak, and Assistant Manager, Arvind Singh, reached the police station and lodged an official complaint in the matter.

As per reports, there is no security guard in the Jail Road branch. A few days ago, a Chief Manager of Punjab National Bank, Hazira in Gwalior was assaulted by a miscreant inside his cabin. There was no security guard in Hazira branch also. As per reports, Punjab National Bank has removed security guards from almost all the branches.
