The RBI Grade B 2025 Notification is officially on the way. The notification will be released soon. According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), advertisements for the exam will be published in newspapers from September 08, 2025.
The Department of Communication (DoC) has already announced that the advertisements will be released through the E-tendering system, ensuring transparency and wide coverage. This step confirms that the RBI Grade B 2025 recruitment process is about to begin soon.
RBI Grade B 2025 Notification Release Date
As per the official tender notice, the RBI Grade B 2025 advertisements will be released between September 08 and September 14, 2025. The responsibility of publishing these advertisements will be given to reputed media houses. This way, the notification will reach lakhs of aspirants across the country who are eagerly waiting to apply.

- DSIM (Department of Statistics and Information Management)

RBI Grade B 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
Educational Qualification
Officers in Grade B (DR-General)
- Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD), OR
- Post-graduation with 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD).
Officers in Grade B (DR-DEPR)
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Integrated Economics Course, or Finance with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD), OR
- PGDM/MBA in Finance with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Officers in Grade B (DR-DSIM)
- Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, or Applied Statistics with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD), OR
- Master’s in Mathematics with one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics, OR
- M. Stat. degree from ISI with 55% marks, OR
- PGDBA from ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur, and IIM Calcutta with 55% marks.
RBI Grade B 2025 Selection Process
The selection process has three main stages, followed by document verification and medical tests:
Phase I (Prelims)
- Objective test with multiple-choice questions.
- Sections: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, and Reasoning.
- Candidates must clear sectional as well as overall cut-offs.
Phase II (Mains)
- Descriptive + objective papers.
- For General Stream: English (Writing Skills), Economic & Social Issues, Finance & Management.
- For DEPR/DSIM: Subject-specific papers in Economics and Statistics.
Phase III (Interview)
- Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview.
- Candidates can choose English or Hindi as their interview language.
