Railway Employees support Bank Strike
All India Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRF), representing more than one million Railwaymen working in Indian Railways, has extended its support to the United Forum of Bank Unions and fully supports the proposed three-day strike, from 28 to 30 September 2026, called by the United Forum of Bank Unions in support of the demands for implementation of a five-day banking week and the withdrawal of the Performance Linked Incentive Scheme.

AIRF expressed its full solidarity with the Banking Employees in their legitimate demands and extends conveys its best wishes for the success of the proposed three-day strike called by the UFBU.
AIRF called upon the concerned authorities to initiate meaningful dialogue with the UFBU and resolve these issues expeditiously in the larger interest of the Banking Sector, its employees, and the Nation.
Yesterday, RBI employees also extended their support to bank strike.
RBI employees have supported the upcoming bank strike from 28 to 30 September 2026. All India Reserve Bank Employees Association and All India Reserve Bank Workers Federation have fully supported the bank strike announced by UFBU.
AIRBEA and AIRBWF will hold lunch time Gate Demonstration on 28th September 2026 with display of posters/placards etc. and they have requested all members to participate in the protest.
