Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced a revision in the annual health checkup facility for its employees, effective from November 1, 2024. This update comes as part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to promote employee welfare, following recommendations from the Core Working Group on Staff Welfare.
PNB has increased the annual health checkup allowances for employees across various cadres, including both officers and award staff. This update expands benefits previously offered to officers up to Scale-III, extending the coverage to workmen employees as well.
The revised annual health checkup limits are as follows:
- Officers in Scale VIII: Increased from ₹8,000 to ₹9,000
- Officers in Scale VI & VII: Increased from ₹6,000 to ₹7,000
- Officers in Scale IV & V: Increased from ₹4,500 to ₹5,500
- Officers up to Scale III: Increased from ₹3,500 to ₹4,500
- Award Staff: Increased from ₹3,000 to ₹4,500
