PNB offers LUXURA and PARAKRAM Credit Card to Army Officers, Check Benefits!!

The Indian Army and Punjab National Bank (PNB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 20 August 2026 to provide customised credit cards to personnel across all ranks of the Indian Army.

Under the MoU, PNB will offer the ‘LUXURA’ Metal Credit Card to Officers and the ‘PARAKRAM’ Credit Card to Junior Commissioned Officers and personnel. The cards offer a range of attractive benefits, including cashback on CSD spends, domestic and international airport lounge access, fuel surcharge waiver and exclusive offers across various merchant outlets. The information was shared by Punjab National Bank and the Indian Army on social media.

First, let’s start with Luxura credit card

This card will be offered to all Commissioned Officers of the Indian Army (serving/retired) – General (Chief of Army Staff), Major General, Lieutenant General, Brigadier, Lieutenant, Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel, Major, Captain and Lieutenant. The joining fees is NIL. Annual fees is Rs.1999 + GST but this fees will be waived if annual spend on the card exceeds Rs. 5.0 lakh from the date of activation.

This card is offered to officers upto 70 years of age and having CIC (CIBIL) score of 700 and above.

Bank is offering limit upto Rs. 5 lakh to officers upto the rank of Lt. Colonel and for officers of the rank Colonel and above, limit is up to Rs.15.0 lakh. Higher credit limit may also be allowed to an officer on special request and as per bank guidelines.

One of the most attractive features of this credit card is cashback on CSD shopping. Army officers shop at CSD stores as the price of items is low in the CSD stores. This credit card offers 3 % Cashback on all CSD Spends. Cashback shall be applicable only where cumulative retail spends during a billing cycle exceed ₹6,000 and there is a maximum cap of ₹3,000 per billing cycle.

This card also offers Unlimited access to Domestic and International Lounges.

PNB – Parakram Credit Card

The second credit card is PNB – Parakram Credit Card, offered to serving and retired Indian Army personnel belonging to the Personnel Below Officer Rank (PBOR) category. This card is offered to Subedar Major, Naib Subedar, Subedar, Havildar, Sepoy, Naik (Nk), Lance Naik (L/Nk).

The joining and annual fee is NIL for this credit card. This card is also offered to army staff upto 70 years of age and having CIC (CIBIL) score of 700 and above

For personnel upto the rank of Havildar, maximum limit is Rs. 1.0 lakh and for personnels above the rank of Havildar and upto Subedar Major, the maximum limit is Rs. 2.0 lakh.

This card also offers 3% cashback on CSD shopping. Maximum cashback is Rs.1500 per billing cycle. Cashback will be earned only if the cumulative spends in a billing cycle exceed ₹3,000 and shall be credited at the end of the billing cycle.

This card offers access to 4 domestic Lounge Per Year (1 per quarter per card) and 1 international Lounge per Year.
