PNB Branch Roof Collapsed, Staff Luckily Escaped
Sukiyawan, Jehanabad, Bihar – A major accident was narrowly avoided on Tuesday afternoon at the Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch in Sukiyawan, when a large portion of the roof suddenly collapsed around 2 PM. The debris fell directly onto the branch manager’s desk while he was working.
Fortunately, the manager escaped unharmed, as a large chunk of the roof fell just 4 to 5 inches away from him. However, his laptop was completely destroyed in the incident.
The incident caused panic among the staff and customers, and the branch’s operations were temporarily halted. Locals revealed that the bank branch has been functioning in a dilapidated building for quite some time. They warned that if timely repairs are not made, the collapse of another part of the roof could lead to a serious accident.
Staff and locals are urging authorities to take immediate action to ensure the safety of everyone at the branch.
