PM Jan Dhan Yojana Performance Report as of Aug 2024

The Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) has completed 10 years on 28 August 2024. The scheme was launched in 2014 and has proven to be the foundation stone in bringing over 80 per cent of Indian women under the ambit of financial inclusion. We have compiled data of PMJDY as of August 2024. Let’s have a look at it.

PMJDY Data: A total of 53.20 crore accounts have been opened under PMJDY as of 21 August 2024. Out of it, 41.47 crore accounts have been opened by Public Sector Banks.
