The RBI has released data on India’s Balance of Payments for the Month of July 2026.

The Balance of Payments (BoP) is a record of all economic transactions between India and other countries during a specific period. When the RBI releases India’s Balance of Payments data, it provides information about the inflow and outflow of foreign exchange through trade in goods and services, remittances, foreign investment, NRI deposits and other international transactions.

In simple terms, the BoP shows how much money is coming into India from abroad and how much is going out. A current account deficit can occur when India’s payments for goods, services and other current transactions are higher than its receipts, while strong capital and financial inflows can offset this deficit and result in an overall Balance of Payments surplus.
