Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has launched a new digital service that allows customers to download their Housing Loan Interest Certificate directly from DigiLocker, making banking more convenient and accessible. This feature eliminates the need to visit a branch, allowing customers to retrieve their loan interest certificates easily from the DigiLocker app or website.
How to Download the Housing Loan Interest Certificate on DigiLocker
Customers can follow these simple steps to get their certificate instantly:
- Open the DigiLocker app or visit the DigiLocker website.
- Log in using your credentials.
- Navigate to Indian Overseas Bank under the listed services.
- Enter your Housing Loan Account Number and select the required Financial Year.
- Download the Housing Loan Interest Certificate instantly.

With this launch, IOB has made four key financial documents available on DigiLocker:
- Housing Loan Interest Certificate (New)
- Savings Account Statement
- Loan Account Statement
- Form 16 for Depositors
These digital services make document retrieval faster, easier, and more secure, reducing the need for physical paperwork and supporting environmental sustainability.
