In a strong protest against the proposed sale of IDBI Bank, the All India IDBI Bank Officers’ Association (AIIDBIOA) has called for a dharna at Jantar Mantar, Delhi, on April 2, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM. There is news that the government of India is planning to divest its stake in IDBI Bank. At present, the government holds 45.48 per cent in IDBI Bank, while LIC’s shareholding is 49.24 per cent.
The association has urged all its members to actively participate in the demonstration, voicing their opposition to the privatization move. Additionally, family members have been encouraged to join the protest to amplify their demands and make the event a grand success.
