ICICI Bank has recently opened a new branch in Preet Nagar, Jammu. This is now the 14th branch of ICICI Bank in the city. The new branch is located in a convenient area and is also equipped with an ATM that will be available for customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This means people can withdraw cash anytime, even during holidays or late at night.

The inauguration of the branch was done by Shri Vikram Randhawa, a respected Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Jammu & Kashmir. Ms. Devyani Rana, who is the Vice-President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) in Jammu & Kashmir, was also present on the occasion to mark the launch of the branch.

This new branch offers all the major banking services that a customer might need. People can open savings accounts and current accounts, as well as fixed deposits and recurring deposits to save their money securely. The branch also provides a variety of loans such as home loans, personal loans, auto loans, business loans, and education loans. Other services such as money transfer (remittance), card-related services, and locker facilities for storing valuable items are also available at this branch.

The working hours of the branch are from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. It remains open from Monday to Friday, and also on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays of each month. This gives customers plenty of time during the week to visit and take care of their banking needs.

One special feature of this branch is that it provides “Tab Banking” services. With Tab Banking, an employee of the bank can visit the customer at their home or office and offer banking services using a tablet device. This includes opening new accounts, creating fixed deposits, requesting cheque books, getting e-statements, changing the account’s address, and many other services – almost 100 in total. This is especially helpful for people who cannot visit the branch easily or prefer banking from home.

ICICI Bank already has a strong presence in Jammu & Kashmir with over 70 branches and more than 80 ATMs and cash recycling machines. Apart from visiting branches, customers can also use ICICI Bank’s internet banking and mobile banking services, or contact their customer care centres for help.

ICICI Bank is one of India’s leading private sector banks. As of December 31, 2024, the bank’s total assets were worth ₹20.13 lakh crore, showing its strong financial position and trusted reputation in the Indian banking industry.
