HDFC Bank Gross advances jumped 62.4% year-over-year to ₹24.7 lakh crore by December 31st, with domestic retail loans leading the way with a 111% increase.

The merger with HDFC in July 2023 boosted overall figures, but even excluding the merger, advances still grew 60.7% year-over-year.

On a quarterly basis, advances rose 4.9%, with all loan categories seeing growth.

Deposits also climbed 27.7% year-over-year to ₹22.14 lakh crore, driven by healthy increases in both retail and wholesale segments.

The bank’s CASA ratio, a measure of low-cost deposits, edged up slightly from the previous quarter but remained below last year’s level.
