A fraud case has come to light at the Aurangabad branch of HDB Finance Company in Mathura. A sales officer working at the company has been accused of preparing fake documents to obtain financing for 11 tractors. Police have registered an FIR against the accused at Sadar Police Station and started an investigation.
HDB Financial Services (HDBFS) is a leading Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) established in 2007.
According to reports, Rajkumar alias Raju, who worked as a sales officer at the company, allegedly created fake PAN cards and Aadhaar cards in the names of deceased persons. Using these forged documents, he allegedly got loans approved for 11 tractors under different fake names. The total fraud amount is believed to be worth crores of rupees.
The scam came to light after a confidential complaint was filed by an employee of the company. The complaint was submitted to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shlok Kumar.
After receiving the complaint, the police started an investigation into the matter. During the three-day inquiry, officials carefully examined several documents and financial records.
CO City Ashna Chaudhary said that the investigation found that the accused had arranged tractor financing using fake identity documents.

Based on the preliminary evidence and document verification, a case was registered against Rajkumar alias Raju at Sadar Police Station on Friday.
