Educational Qualification
The minimum qualification for recruitment to the clerical cadre is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% marks.
- Candidates holding a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree are not eligible.
- Candidates holding Engineering degrees are not eligible, except candidates having a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, such as BE/B.Tech or equivalent.
- Candidates who have passed CA Intermediate or CMA Intermediate are also eligible.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age should not be more than 28 years as on 10 June 2026. Candidates should refer to the detailed recruitment information available on the bank’s website for any applicable age-related provisions.
Other Eligibility Requirements
Apart from educational and age requirements, candidates must fulfil the following conditions:
- Candidates should have knowledge of Gujarati, English and computers.
- The candidate should be a resident of Gujarat.

Gandevi Bank Clerk Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Selection consists of an Online Written Examination followed by a Personal Interview. A candidate must qualify in both the Online Examination and the Interview to be considered for the subsequent recruitment process.

All test papers will be available only in English. The Bank reserves the right to modify the structure of the examination, which will be intimated through its website. A penalty of 1/4th of the marks assigned to a question is applied for each wrong answer (negative marking). Test-wise and total scores are reported with decimal points up to two digits, and scores may be equated across sessions to adjust for minor differences in difficulty level.
