Fraud Attempt to Seize Company Bank Account Using Fake Documents Exposed in Lucknow

A serious fraud related to the bank account of a private company has been discovered in the Hazratganj area of Lucknow. In this case, some people tried to take control of the company’s bank account by changing the authorized signatories using fake documents.

The police have registered an FIR against six accused persons and started an investigation into the matter.

How the Fraud Came to Light

The fraud was discovered when the company’s director received a letter from the Hazratganj branch of Canara Bank.

In this letter, the bank informed that a person had requested them to freeze all transactions from the company’s account. The request was made until the authorized signatories of the company were changed.

Along with this request, a document was attached claiming to be a company resolution. This immediately raised suspicion.

Fake Documents and Forgery

During the initial investigation, it was found that the resolution submitted to the bank was fake.

  • The document did not have the signatures of the actual company directors.
  • Despite this, the accused tried to mislead the bank by submitting these forged documents.
  • The aim was to show that the company had officially approved changes in signatories.

Planned Conspiracy

According to the complaint:

  • All accused individuals worked together in a planned and organized manner.
  • Their goal was to remove the real directors of the company.
  • They wanted to gain control over the company’s bank account.
  • The main motive behind this act was financial gain.

The FIR has been registered at Hazratganj Police Station under serious sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.

  • Former associate of the company
  • Believed to be the main mastermind behind the conspiracy

2. Rajshekhar (Son of Amod Kumar Sachan):

  • Director of the company (currently living abroad)
  • His name and signature were allegedly misused

3. Sanjay Singh:

  • Wrote to the bank requesting a freeze on the account
  • Started the process of the fraud

4. Suryakant Srivastava:

  • Proposed as the new authorized signatory in the fake resolution

5. Vimal Prakash Khare:

  • Signed the forged resolution

6. Akhilesh Kumar:

  • Also signed the fake resolution
