A fire broke out early in the morning at around 6 AM at the Axis Bank branch located in Kidwaipuri, Patna, in the Kotwali area. The fire department was immediately alerted, and fire trucks from Loddipur rushed to the scene. After about 30 minutes of hard work, the fire was successfully brought under control.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident, and there was no damage to important documents. The cause of the fire was traced to an air conditioner that overheated and sparked the blaze.

According to Ajit Kumar, the sub-divisional fire officer, the fire department received the report around 6 AM. Three fire trucks were dispatched to the location. Upon arrival, the inside of the bank was filled with thick smoke, making it difficult for the fire personnel to enter. They used pipes and machines to clear out the smoke and gain access.

The bank manager had already informed the control room about the fire, and when the fire trucks arrived, the manager was present at the scene. A crowd of people, who were passing by, gathered to watch the situation unfold. Some of them even stepped in to assist the fire brigade team as they worked to put out the flames.

Quick action by the fire brigade and the cooperation of the bank staff and local residents helped prevent any major damage.
