Female Bank Employee Raped by Police Inspector in Kanpur

A serious case of crime has come to light in Kanpur. A bank employee from the Sisamau area has accused a crime branch inspector and two others of rape, blackmail, and circulating an obscene video of her.

According to the complaint, the woman came into contact with the accused inspector, Vaibhav, through his sister. She alleges that the inspector, along with another local youth, sexually assaulted her, recorded the incident on video, and then used it to exploit her both physically and financially over several months.

Due to this incident, the woman went into depression. During counselling sessions, the family came to know the real reason. The accused showed the obscene video to their relatives and later circulated it on social media.

The police have registered a case against the accused. Since the main accused inspector resides within the Sisamau police station limits, the investigation has been transferred to Chamanganj police station for impartiality. The inspector has been served notice to record his statement.

DCP Central Shravan Kumar Singh confirmed that an FIR has been lodged against the inspector and two others. “Investigation has begun based on the evidence. If the allegations are proven, strict action will be taken,” he said.

A few months ago, in Lucknow a female bank employee was allegedly held hostage and gang-raped by three men. The police have arrested the accused, who have been identified as Arvind (36), his brother Sachin (40), and their friend Ram Sumiran (44). Woman Raped by Colleague

A few months ago, a woman working at a bank in the Srikrishnapuri area of Patna, Bihar had accused the branch manager of attempting to sexually assault her. The branch manager, Rajneesh Kumar Srivastava, called her to inquire about her work for the day. He then invited her to his friend’s hostel seeking urgent medical help. When she arrived, she found Rajneesh Kumar already drunk and pressuring her to drink alcohol.

When she refused, Rajneesh Kumar became aggressive, holding her hand and demanding that she offer something in exchange for a promotion. He then tried to force himself on her.
